Hi, Bill. Couple of things. First, the idiotic gender gap talk began in 1984 when Reagan crushed Mondale and won a majority of the female vote but not as big as his majority male vote. The Leftist media just had to find something bad.

Since then the so-called gender gap has been driven solely by the fact that 97% of Black female voters voted Dem. Republicans still usually won the white female vote. As more Hisanic female voters arrived, they added a bit to the gender gap numbers, but they never, ever voted 97% for Dems.

In 2024 the Black female vote -- 6% of the overall total -- dropped to 92% for Harris. That single fact should scare Dems big time. And undoubtedly does among those reasonably smart and aware of Reality.

Anyway. On a personal level I have not been here much. My wife died unexpectedly in late January. She was only 57. Since then I have been emotionally very distraught, have moved to the Illinois side of the St Louis area to be near family, and have been trying to put together some kind of new life.

That included closing rather a lot of accounts, including the credit card I used to subscribe here. After getting a couple of emails I stirred myself enough to resubscribe with a new card.

I have been, and still am to some extent, a mess, to be clear. But I am slowly getting back to things that I enjoy, and reading your substack is one of them. It hels me feel normal.

Thanks.

Those Harvard numbers point to something very important: political views tend to get formed during high school, not college.
